Concept:
LaeRe is envisioned as a contemporary Burmese fashion house that merges cultural identity with modern self-expression. Rooted in symbolism and refined minimalism, the brand embraces fluidity, individuality, and inclusivity through a sophisticated visual language. The logo icon is built from the integration of the letters L and R, representing the initials of the brand name “LaeRe.” Instead of constructing the monogram in a literal or conventional manner, the letters are abstracted into a symmetrical geometric emblem inspired by Burmese ornamental structures and textile rhythms.
The identity is designed for a new generation that values:
heritage without restriction
elegance without gender boundaries
Typography:
The custom letterforms soften the overall brand presence, making the identity approachable while maintaining sophistication.
The customized "L" & “R” play a particularly important role in the system. Its unique structure subtly disrupts conventional typography.
